Cash on delivery

When the products are delivered, please pay the delivery driver in cash in exchange for the products.
Please note that you cannot make the payment with a credit card. If you would like to use cash on delivery, the following fees will be applied based on the total amount of the product subtotal, shipping fee, and tax.

¥9,999 and less: ¥330
¥10,000 - ¥29,999: ¥440
¥30,000 - ¥99,999: ¥660
¥100,000 - ¥300,000: ¥1,100

We kindly ask for your understanding that cash on delivery cannot be used in the following instances.

  • The addressee's address is a PO box
  • The total amount of the product subtotal, shipping fee, and tax exceeds ¥300,000
  • If you have three or more returns due to a long-term absence or refusal to accept the delivery, you will no longer be able to use cash on delivery for future orders.
    If you select cash on delivery as the payment method in this instance, your order will be canceled, so we ask that you please place the order again using a different payment method.

If you are using cash on delivery, the delivery company will call you to confirm that you are home before making the delivery.
The receipt will be issued by the delivery company. Please store the receipt with care, as we never reissue receipts.
Products that have been returned due to a long-term absence or refusal to accept the delivery will not be redelivered. If you are not present, the delivery company will leave a notice of absence, so please contact the delivery company directly to receive the products. If the products are returned after the conclusion of the storage period (seven days), your order will be canceled. We kindly ask for you understanding that products that have been returned will not be redelivered.

About the deadline for payment
  • If you selected credit card payment
    The payment will be completed after you enter the credit card information. For the withdrawal date, please check the settlement date and payment date for each credit card company.
2. About delivery
Shipping fee
  • Shipping and receiving purchased products
    Please note the Tokyo 2020 Official Online Shop only ships goods within Japan.
    We only accept orders from customers who can receive purchased products within Japan.
    Please give a plenty of time allowance for delivery. It takes between 3 and 6 business days* for the purchased products to arrive after the date of order.

    *Shipping time varies depending on the area and place of addressee.
    Please refer to “Shipping Fees and Shipping Time” on each product page for more details.
    *Please refer to “Shipping Fees and Days Required for Delivery” for more details.
    *Shipping time may be affected by traffic and weather conditions.
    *Cash-on-delivery services are not accepted for deliveries to hotels, inns or Airbnb, since the purchased products cannot be delivered directly to the customer.
    *Returns and exchanges will not be accepted for purchased items.
    Please check your items carefully before purchasing.

About the delivery timing
  • The shipment will be made roughly three business days after the date following the confirmation of the deposit.
    We kindly ask for your understanding that there is the possibility of a delay if there is a high volume of orders.
About overseas delivery
  • Our shop does not make overseas deliveries. We only make deliveries within Japan.
3. About returns, exchanges, and warranties
About returns and exchanges
  • After an order has been placed, we do not accept requests for change, cancellations, returns, or exchanges.
    Please check the content of your basket before pacing an order.

    However, we will accept returns and exchanges if there are product defects, failures, or other issues caused by our shop.

    [For ordinary products] Please contact us by calling our customer service (Japanese only) or emailing us within seven days after you receive the products.

    [For high-priced products over 300,000 JPY] Please contact us by calling our customer service (Japanese only) or emailing us within thirty days after you receive the products.

    *We may not be able to process exchange and return requests made after seven days (for ordinary products) or thirty days (for high-priced products).
    We kindly ask for your understanding.
  • If you do not wish an exchange, we will make a full refund to your bank account regardless of the original payment method.
  • *High-priced products (unit price exceeding 300,000 JPY including tax, except for precious metal products – please see Note 1)
    require transportation insurance fee which is 10 JPY per 10,000 JPY (e.g. insurance fee for 300,000 JPY is 300 JPY).
    you wish to return high-priced products, you will be temporarily charged this insurance fee. Shipping cost for retuning products
    will be payable by the online shop, and insurance fee will be refunded to you via designated method.
    Note1: No transportation insurance fee will incur for returning high-priced precious metal products.

4. About receipts
Please issue your receipt online
  • If you are registered as a member at the time of your purchase, please advance to "Purchase history" → "Purchase history details" from My page after logging in and press "Issue receipt."
  • Once the products have been delivered, the online receipt issuing service can be used as many times as you like.

  • We ask that you please confirm whether or not the forms printed from the website can be used to settle expenses.
  • If you made your purchase without registering as a member, please reach out to us separately through the inquiry form.
